Our client, a privately-backed manufacturing business in Northern Italy, is seeking an interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team for an initial period of 3-6 months.
The CFO will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for professionalising the finance function to meet the expectations of private equity investors. This includes developing a commercial capability that can operate at pace, as well as establishing rigorous controls, processes, systems, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Professionalise the finance function to achieve commercial capability and meet private equity standards
* Develop effective cash flow management and working capital procedures
* Partner with the CEO to make strategic business decisions based on insightful and well-presented financial information
* Drive best practices in a dynamic environment, balancing hands-on involvement with delivering core finance elements and driving business decisions
Candidate Profile:
* Demonstrable experience as a CFO in a private equity-owned business
* Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, operational, wholesale, or FMCG organisation with an international presence
* Business literacy in Italian
* Able to work on-site in Northern Italy for 3-4 days per week
