This role is at the heart of cross-functional coordination, ensuring seamless integration across all technical and functional domains. The ideal candidate will define the performance contract and vehicle architecture, acting as a key interface between various teams. Beyond strong technical expertise, this role requires exceptional communication skills to translate complex information and align diverse stakeholders. Proactivity, adaptability, and the ability to foster collaboration across disciplines will be essential to drive project success.Mission:Accountable for the technical design of the Vehicle system, related performances, safety, functional and physical integration and product / development, to reach the best trade off between Quality-Cost-Timing-Performance and achieving the program targets for a assigned model at different stages of program life (advance of phase, development or serial life)Responsibilities:Engages the responsibility of PFDI on Quality, Cost, Timing and Performance in an engineering contract with Project Director on model, platform and modulesTranslate the Marketing/Brands needs and lead the convergence of the functional objective target definition process with the Marketing and Brands, involving Physical and Functional Architecture and Subsystems inputs.Ensures that international standards are taken into account in the project contractEnsures the coherence of the functional specifications between the different subsystemsLeads the convergence between design, technical feasibility and performanceEnsures the application of the Perceived Quality targetsDefines and coordinates the packaging plan, the digital and physical validation plan (including expert and captive fleets)Takes into account regulatory constraints and follow up the tests plan carrying out.Pilots the functional, dysfunctional design, maintainability and diagnostics capability of the vehicleFacilitates the convergence of Operational Safety deliverables (reliability, availability, maintainability and functional safety) to achieve the reliability in use and safety objectivesLead design escalation proposes to achieve functional objectives to achieve the best trade off between Quality/Timing/cost/performance targets and ensures their applicationParticipates to the definition of the Physical and functional architecture team in terms of skills and resources and in case of technical perimeter modifications adjust with the Project manager the related budgetRequired Skills:Extensive experience in vehicle architecture, system synthesis, and QCDP management, ensuring optimal technical and business alignment.Strong expertise in vehicle safety, validation processes, and regulatory compliance, driving adherence to industry standards.Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams across engineering, design, purchasing, and manufacturing to foster seamless vehicle integration.Ability to define and drive technical specifications, ensuring feasibility and convergence across multiple disciplines.Hands-on experience with digital and physical validation tools and methodologies for robust system verification.Strong background in project coordination, decision-making, and stakeholder management, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.Excellent communication and leadership skills, effectively aligning cross-functional teams, including integration, safety, manufacturing, packaging, marketing, and brand.Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset, capable of navigating complexity and driving innovation.Diversity engagementAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
