Description Job Description The IT Specialist is in charge of the management and solving of the IT issues within the local Branch, complying with the corporate procedures and the local day-to-day needs. Moreover, the IT Specialist ensures the proper functionalities of IT systems and tools, monitoring their updates, and granting Company data security. The role reports hierarchically to the Country Manager of the Branch and functionally to the Global Acciona Agua IT Team. ACTIVITIES Focus on the Local Branch Preparing workstations for newcomers, configuring all the HW and SW as requested by the Manager Providing support to newcomers, training them about Company systems and tools, configuring laptop, tablet and/or smartphone Providing 1st level support about technical issues both hardware and software (basic systems as Ms Office and specific ones adopted in the different functional teams) Managing networks and servers directly in case of problems and to provide updates and improvements Leading, supporting, and improving the digitalization of the internal processes Supervising data security and backup Developing the internal reporting Granting the day-to-day performance of the cloud software solutions for all employees Managing relationships with IT suppliers Focus on the Corporate Team Supervising data security and backup Developing the internal reporting Supporting the delivery of the Company IT strategies as they are defined by the IT Global team Participating in the delivery of IT global projects (i.e. the ones linked to the Digital Transformation), supporting the management and managing relationships with IT suppliers Providing support to the local Branch in compliance with the Global IT guidelines and procedures Required Skills And Competencies Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology 3 years experience as IT Specialist/System Engineer/ 2nd or 3rd level IT Support in medium company (300 employees) Good knowledge about Operating Systems server Win 2K3 and Office 365 in cloud Good knowledge about networking (DNS, DNHS) Ability to work in a multinational company, building strong and effective relationships Proactivity Strong result-oriented approach Language Skills: English: Proficient Spanish: Nice to have As a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging, and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
