ABOUT THE ROLE This job is opened to internal candidates in the Iveco Group onl y The candidate will be responsible to design, develop and validate the Energy Management Systems covering various components up to 60 V, mainly focusing on charging and related components. This role will support multiple projects related to current and next vehicle generation across all Iveco Group ranges. He/she has the responsibility to: Manage and design charging system to meet energy demand under all operating conditions Analyze technical requirements and dissect them into logical functional groups, defining system interfaces Evaluate, assess and recommend for robustness levels on advance energy components within Iveco Group and Market standards Evaluate energy balance of the charging system to ensure that alternator can cope with all the demands placed on it and still recharge batteries Manage Smart Charging to prevent LV battery overcharging Develop System-FMEA to ensure design robustness Contribute to the Energy balance simulation and test Stay up-to-date within industry trends, standards, and apply this knowledge to the components, roadmaps, trend and benchmark Provide technical guidance and support to all Iveco Group Ranges REQUIREMENTS Bachelor/Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering Solid experience (at least 3 years) in similar roles Good English level (at least B2) both spoken and written Expert in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Vehicle Communication Protocol (CAN, LIN) Ability to understand algorithms and vehicle function (interaction between Vehicles ECUs) Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations Experience with DFMEA and TFA Experience with Vector Tools such as CANalyze Experience with MATLAB/Simulink tools Excellent communication skills to clearly communicate to internal/external teams and suppliers at different level WORK LOCATION Turin, Italy
