Within the EMEA Headquarters, you will join the Content Creation & Publishing (CCP) department under the responsibility of the CCP Director.
You will define and carry out the marketing strategies for a group of products across worldwide territories to expand brand awareness, while maximizing revenue and contributive margin.
You will outline strategy, identify key communication pillars, create and provide a marketing key beat roadmap, promotional assets, communication tools and general support to global and regional marketing teams.
Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list):
Definition and implementation of the Brand strategy
* Define and carry out the brand strategy across worldwide territories, ensuring that it is pertinent and applicable to all global and regional offices
* Define the main strategic pillars in coordination with the developer and the Publishing team
* Identify the positioning of new products within existing brand segments
* Team up with Global Producer(s) to form a 360° duo to follow and shape the game’s development process according to marketability’s best practice
* Ensure optimal project coordination throughout internal teams (dev team, Production, BNEE Go-To-Market, Sales, Printed Materials…), regional Brand Managers / Product Managers from other Bandai Namco groups (BNEI, BNEA and BNE Asia), PR / Social Media, Digital Marketing, 1st parties, licensors, etc. to maximize the brand awareness and sales.
* Create and manage internal coordination tools (assets calendar, pre-order follow-up…) to meet all Marketing & Communication milestones
* Manage the marketing budget for each title; follow up sales in volume/value, revenue and margin
Support and promotion:
* Able to present the project at different phases of its life cycle to various committees (Publishing Committee, Editorial Committee, etc.)
* Work with the relevant stakeholders (Production, Finance, Operations) on product P&Ls (full products and special editions such as Collector’s Editions) to ensure the right level of profitability for each title
* Optimize digital revenues & promotional synergies with physical products, cross-platform partnerships, etc. in collaboration with the Sales teams worldwide with the support of the Global Associate Brand Manager
* Collaborate with the Transmedia Manager, Licensing Department & BNEE e-store to maximize the brand exposure and secure partnerships with external licensees with the support of the Global Associate Brand Manager
* 8+ years of experience as a Brand Manager in the gaming business, and within a multi-national, multi-brand company
* Experience in launching AA or AAA games, on PC & console platforms
* Outstanding knowledge of the videogame and entertainment industry
* High command of English
* Excellent organization and time management ability
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel
* Flexibility
* Diplomacy and good communication skills so that you can adapt to international and various audiences
* Strong team spirit
* Ability to work autonomously with little supervision and without being afraid of taking initiatives
* Creativity, passion for all entertainment forms
* Willingness to travel on business required
