Career Opportunities: Pricing Manager (4813) Requisition ID 4813 - Posted - Filtration and Life Sciences - Turin - Posting Country (16) We are looking for a Pricing Manager to support our Filtration and Life Sciences division in commercial excellence and price management. Main purpose of the job Implement and support pricing strategy and optimization, as well as pricing processes, methods and tools, including definition of price positioning for new products within the Division or the BU's according to the priorities. Key responsibilities Manage and optimize pricing processes in one or more Business Units within Filtration and Life Sciences division, supporting the division VP Pricing and Commercial Excellence Contribute to the Division pricing strategy together with the VP Pricing and Commercial Excellence, BU VPs, and Heads of Sales Bring in methods, technics and analysis to support the BU and Division pricing strategy Review and analyze pricing performances (including raw materials pass-through) by product/customer/geography. Provide ongoing recommendations for margins optimization Maintain and revise price lists, monitor potential margin leakages, and manage corresponding recovery actions Benchmark competitors' price information and identify opportunities for pricing optimization Define price positioning of new products on the basis of customer value and competitive landscape Train the Division and BU sales team in pricing Qualifications & Experience Master's degree within quantitative sciences and data analysis (e.g., statistics, engineering, economics, etc.) Solid experience in a pricing, commercial, sales, finance role, in a B2B context Strong analytical skills, business sense, curiosity, innovation, sales and marketing orientation Good understanding of how pricing impacts financial performance at multiple levels (e.g. volumes, mix) Natural inclination to go deep, understand the root causes at multiple levels and the mechanisms causing and leading to events, results, errors, etc. At ease with large set of numbers and thrives to deduct strong and pragmatic insights that can drive business value Good international leadership skills Self-starter, high level of engagement and resilience Strong sense of ownership and accountability in the work role and its impact on business Strong communication and networking skills, cross-cultural awareness Ahlstrom is a global leader in combining fibers into sustainable specialty materials.
