Banca Generali ( the leading Private Bank in Italy for client financial planning and wealth management through a network of private Financial Advisors at the top of their field in terms of expertise and professionalism, is looking for a Compliance specialist to be introduced in Trieste (preferred) or Milan office inside the Compliance Department (organizational unit “Conformità e Privacy”).
Within the Compliance Department, the U.O. Conformità e Privacy unit aims to ensure the regular fulfillment of the core compliance duties in accordance with the relevant Banca d’Italia, CONSOB and IVASS regulations.
The candidate joining the team will support the Responsible in performing the main tasks of the unit such as:
1. Managing the compliance control framework
2. Ex-ante and ex-post verification of the suitability of internal procedures to ensure compliance with applicable rules with a specific focus on investment services
3. Supporting the Company projects in relation to compliance topics
4. Reporting to the process owners and corporate bodies
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
1. Successful track record of at least 1 year in Control Functions
2. University level degree in finance/economics, business administration or law
3. Problem-solving and analytical skillset
4. Ability to drive topics and deliver results even under pressure and time constraints
5. Team player
6. Knowledge of standard MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint above all)
7. Good spoken and written English
8. Digital mindset
Nice to have:
1. Knowledge of the banking/financial regulatory framework
2. Successful track record of at least 5 years in Compliance Function
