Contributes to business and plant results while maintaining positive employee relations.The Maintenance Teamleader also drives FPR AM Progression by transferring tasks from PM (Maintenance Technicians) execution to AM (production line) execution. This includes the selection, revision and validation of tasks before final transfer, as well as providing resources to facilitate AM execution and resolving identified technical/operational issues.The primary accountabilities of the role include managing AM Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, daily maintenance schedule adherence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement execution/implementation.The Team Leader Maintenance has to be an effective and valuable member of the Technical Systems team, ensuring the delivery of plant business results. The Team Leader Maintenance works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with his reports as well as production units and support functions, guiding and empowering teams in the implementation of the plant strategy.Essential Job Functions:Accountable for the quality and productivity of the Maintenance department, and its ability to deliver high levels of service to the plant.Manage the people, materials, and equipment to deliver maintenance performance objectives, as measured by plant KPI’s.Ensures compliance with policies/procedures for staffing, shift schedule, vacation scheduling, and training to meet business needs.Manages the development and implementation of the daily maintenance schedule to ensure high levels of equipment availability service.Accountable for developing managing the maintenance budget.Identifies, recommends, and implements both maintenance manufacturing cost reduction programs.Makes recommendations on both capital and operating budgets.Communicates and implements the local Supply Chain vision, mission, strategy, and objectives within the plant.Ensures effective communication within the teams.Empowers subordinates through training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation, to ensure the development of people, teams, and organizational capabilities.Implements FPR and other continuous improvement programs within the plant.Tasks / Projects are performed within the legal and corporate requirements.Accountable for adhering to CP/Hill’s, local, and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality, and Regulatory.Shares knowledge and develops skills of others (in team) and actively participates in continuous learning opportunities.Takes initiatives to optimize working activities.Owner of SMART Maintenance standard.Education:Bachelor in Technical / Engineering3-5 years experience within a Maintenance Department in a highly automated production environmentKey Competencies:Managing maintenance and productionManaging materials and servicesContinuous ImprovementCross-organizational collaborationEHS and QualitySupply Chain systems and analysisBusiness / Financial Understanding
