At Unicredit we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist / AI Strategist to join the recently formed AI Architecture and Strategy Team. In this role you will have the possibility to be at the forefront of shaping Unicredit AI Strategy across various countries and banking domains, ranging from Business to control functions and operation. You will be responsible for defining together with key stakeholders the target state for AI in the group alongside the evolutionary roadmap, bridging the gap between technology, innovation, and business need.
Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Engagement and AI Evangelization across the group at different management levels.
* AI strategy definition and evolution according to collected and anticipated needs, keeping track of the constantly evolving AI technological landscape.
* Align Business Priorities and vision with Architecture and Factory delivery – to bridge the gap between stakeholders and delivery squad.
* Support and monitor AI Adoption across the organization including KPI tracking and reporting to top management.
* Evolve AI Strategy according to Business and group strategy including digital landscape evolution roadmap.
* Help stakeholders understand how AI can better serve or evolve a specific domain, unlocking new development opportunities for AI adoption in the group.
* Ideally, a senior Data Scientist with in-depth knowledge of various AI technologies and methodologies, used to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in Product Management and Evolution to help steer the effort in our Internal AI Platform development.
* Top-notch communication skills; presentation and public speaking.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and management, including organization senior leadership.
* Experience in AI technologies adoption programs close to final users – focus on enhancing user interaction with the technology.
* Experience in demand collection (preferably in the AI domain) including selling and opportunity scouting experience.
Nice to have
* Consolidated experience in AI Strategy or similar role, preferably in the FSI industry.
* Consultancy background with focus on project/program proposal and activation.
* Experience in Digital Strategy and governance roles.
* Consolidated knowledge of AI technology from a functional perspective (e.g., what is currently possible with a certain model or stack).
* Experience in buy vs make evaluation and strategy definition – not only in the AI domain.
* Hands-on experience in driving strategic digital initiatives with high complexities and multiple stakeholders and counterparts.
