Job Description
The Technical Support Department of Ceccato Aria Compressa, Product Company of Atlas Copco Group based in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), is currently looking for an Aftersales Specialist.
As an Aftersales Specialist, your mission is to enhance the reputation of our products: quality, reliability, and serviceability.
This will include the following responsibilities:
* Offering day-to-day timely service support to the Customer Centers.
* Continuously improving product quality by proactive failure reporting follow-up, analyzing warranty reports, driving force in technical committee meetings (TCM), and participating in product quality meetings (PQM).
* Informing customer centers via Service bulletins and the Service Website about product improvements and actions to be taken.
* Playing an active role in product development to assure the highest level of serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost by strong involvement in project team meetings (PTM).
* Providing accurate and up-to-date service information related to the product range. Developing documentation, service kits, and tools for improving serviceability.
* Providing and developing technical training in conjunction with the competence development group.
Interaction will include frequent contacts with customer centers, other Product Companies, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Product Managers.
As our products are sold all over the world, you will be prepared to travel to meet customers – at least 30 days per year.
Experience requirements
Engineering background is mandatory. We will evaluate both entry-level and experienced candidates.
Knowledge / Educational requirements
Candidate must have an engineering degree.
Technical knowledge of compressors, dryers, and compressed air ancillaries is necessary.
Good knowledge of English is required. An additional language is considered a plus.
Software skills (e.g., MS Office, Lotus Notes, BPCS) would be an asset.
Personality requirements
You are proactive and customer-oriented, maintaining regular contacts with customer centers and providing accurate and unambiguous advice.
You possess good communication skills and commercial awareness.
As a real problem solver, you can deal with unexpected situations, implement solutions, and actively search for root causes.
You have strong analytical skills, able to evaluate data and information, structuring and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
You are capable of working in a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of customer service.
Short trips abroad are not a problem for you.
