Job Description
The mission of the job:
The Credit Manager is responsible for managing the entire credit process of the Business Area Southern Europe, contributing to the development and implementation of the credit policies, actively safeguarding the business profitability, and minimizing the risks associated.
The Credit Manager assesses the creditworthiness of existing and potential customers.
Main activities:
1. Customer credit risk and credit limit: assessment, definition, and maintenance.
2. Customer solvency control.
3. Business partnering: define proper balance between business choices, compliance, and economic/financial impact.
4. Decision on payment conditions (terms and methods) respecting group policies and local regulations.
5. Negotiation of guarantees (bank guarantees, etc.).
6. Responsible for the daily credit check and order release.
7. Managing customer credit insurance activities (negotiate the credit limit, turnover declaration, claim process).
8. Definition, calculation, and monitoring of KPIs (provision for bad debts, overdue, DSO).
9. Analysis of overdue amounts, management of debt collection (pre-dunning and payment reminders), definition of payment plans to ensure that the agreed payment conditions are fulfilled.
10. Collaboration with legal office and external legal partners for claim disputes on collection activity and insolvency procedures.
11. Generate periodic reports and provide strategic insights to management.
12. Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure efficient and effective credit management.
13. Monitoring the application of group procedures.
14. Review and update the internal procedures, improving process efficiency, ensuring standardization and compliance in all territories.
15. Lead & provide management support to the team of credit analysts.

Additional Information
Education: Master’s Degree in Finance or Management Control.
Minimal years of experience: 5-10 years.
