The brand EATALY is the combination of two English words: EAT and ITALY. Eataly is about eating Italian food, but not it is not just about Italian food.
That "Italian" way of indulging at the table is the result of the extent to which Italians enjoy excellent Mediterranean cuisine combined with Italy’s food and wine culture and history, the easy reproduction of many dishes of poor origin, along with many positive influences that Italian cuisine has gained from abroad over history (for example, with tomatoes and corn coming from America).
Eataly’s first store was opened in Turin in 2007. Our goal is to introduce a new way of distributing high quality agricultural products, inspired by leitmotifs as such as sustainability, responsibility and sharing.
We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager for our Stockholm location on a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site vikariat (temporary position) to cover a maternity leave from 1 of April 2025.
Responsibilities
Marketing:
* Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to understand and define Eataly’s marketing programs and develop corresponding local marketing activities.
* Partner with the store management team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and budget to drive awareness, traffic, and sales.
* Oversee the store's social media strategy and act as a backup for the social media specialist.
* Protect Eataly's brand and ensure marketing activities and promotions are effectively communicated internally and externally through graphics and PR content.
Events & PR:
* Participate with the management team in developing events, promotions, and partner events for the store's calendar.
* Collaborate with the events team as needed to build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
Team Leadership:
* Lead the marketing team, assigning tasks, prioritizing their execution, motivating and evaluating team members.
* Provide weekly updates to the Marketing Team in Italy via conference calls.
* Coordinate the Cooking School (La Scuola) schedule with the team of instructors.
* Manage La Scuola related invoices administration.
* Serve as backup for the administration of La Scuola mailbox.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience.
* Experience in the food and beverage or retail industry, ideally with a focus on Italian cuisine.
* Strong understanding of the Swedish marketplace and competitor analysis.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and business management skills.
* Flexibility and willingness to support multiple teams.
* Availability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Right to work in Sweden.
* Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish. Proficiency in Italian is a plus.
