The sales team at Medline is central to our entire organisation, and as an account manager for medical devices and products, you will be responsible for managing and directing business for the assigned territory: Toscana and Liguria. In particular, you will promote and direct sales of our acute care product line (gloves, fluid management, custom packs, patient protection, etc.) with the scope to increase sales of the operating theatre product range and strengthen the reach and impact of our acute care portfolio.
How can you help us?
As Account Manager – Acute Care, you will be tasked to:
* Present and sell products and services on daily visits to public and private healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
* Assist customers with choosing products that best suit their needs.
* Create and maintain a strong and stable relationship with current customers and secure and develop new potential accounts.
* Identify concerns or customer complaints and facilitate timely resolutions.
* Identify and manage tenders and price quotations in collaboration with the Customer Service & Tender Management team as well as the product divisions, according to deadlines.
* Complete reports on customers, issues and analytics-related figures in a timely manner, maintaining and using CRM data.
* Collaborate with the head of sales and divisions to define and implement the best product promotion strategy.
* Work according to the ‘Challenger Sales’ methodology.
* Coordinate the company's resources to ensure the efficiency of sales achievements.
* Respect and comply with general policies outlined in the Medline International Code of Conduct.
Are you our match?
* Holds a degree from a business school and/or at least 3 years of experience in sales account management in the medical device sector.
* Possess a working knowledge of medical decision-making processes and understands bidding strategies.
* Customer-oriented.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make constructive/logical arguments.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
* Fluent in Italian and good spoken and written English skills.
* Based in Tuscany.
