Company Overview: Hargreaves are a leading company in the metals industry, specialising in the import and distribution of Pig Iron throughout Italy. We are currently expanding our operations and are looking for a dynamic Business Development and Sales Specialist to join our team in Milan.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Drive the expansion of our client base and sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the wider the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the metals industry.
Warehouse Setup: Lead the establishment of a new warehouse facility with a capacity of 50,000 metric tonnes of Pig Iron.
Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with partners in Brazil to establish and maintain efficient supply chain networks.
Logistics Coordination: Work with local logistics companies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products throughout Italy.
Requirements:
Language Skills: Fluency in Italian is essential, with strong proficiency in English.
Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, and logistics, preferably within the metals or related industries. Ideally, candidates will have experience in business development within the same industry.
Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain management and logistics processes.
