Job Description Within the Group Investment function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team in the Asset Data Management Unit. The unit manages a uniform set of reference data, financial instruments, portfolios, positions and transactions held and/or executed by Insurance Business Units of Generali Group, granting accuracy and consistency of information collected from multiple sources. The primary objective of the team is to manage the centralized investment data system, which is essential for the creation of managerial and regulatory reports across the Group. The unit highly interacts with Group Business Units and several Group functions. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Collection and formalization of business requirements coming from group stakeholders (e.g. investment, finance, risk), creating functional specifications for solutions Execution and management of data quality checks and controls, and proactive contribution to timely identification and resolution of issues and proposal of possible enhancements and improvements Assisting the team on activities related to investment data and their use for risk management topics, e.g. analysing necessary documentation, monitoring delivery deadlines, interacting with other teams within the organisation on relevant data Contribute to maintenance of the systems processes relevant for Risk Management Contribute to design solutions for system processes that meet business needs and objectives Participate in testing and validating new systems features to meet business requirements Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any related field At least one year of work experience in the financial or insurance sector Advanced knowledge of MS Office. High proficiency with SQL, database management and Data Processing (FTP, batch, etc.) Strong knowledge of capital market and financial instruments (fixed income, equity, funds, derivatives, money market instruments, alternative investments, investments funds, etc.) Knowledge of Investment portfolios types, present in Insurance business (e.g. unit-linked, general account) Experience with data visualization Solid understanding of data quality principles Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS principles, Insurance business and regulation will be considered a plus Soft skills: Proven analytical abilities and reporting skills, attention to details Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights Company Profile Generali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
