Located close to Como, Dedar experiments and innovates to attain product perfection through an ongoing dialogue with those craftsmen and textile specialists who are most familiar with the techniques employed in the production of excellent fabrics.

Just 20 people 20 years ago; an international team of more than 190 employees today: a group that keeps growing with the company, sharing the same passion for beautiful textiles. Dedar serves over 80 countries and operates directly in Italy, France, UK, USA, Russia, UAE, Germany and across a selected numbers of dealers and distributors.
SCOPE
The Showroom Manager, directly reporting to the Country Manager Italy, will be responsible for the successful operation of the Dedar Showroom in terms of sales, service, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
He/she will work closely with Sales Representatives on projects, local events and presentations by the Showroom to establish and nurture a network of professionals linked to Dedar.
In addition, he/she will be responsible for people management and training on new and existing products, designs, and company sales initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
More specifically the main job duties are:
* Responsible for developing sales in person and showroom team, including identified customer base, leads and prospects, in line with Dedar strategy and customer relationship management guidelines.
* Responsible of the quality of customer experience, assistants, and textile consultancy, provided to the public, to customers, to the team.
* Responsible for growing relevance of Dedar connection to the design community (interior designer, specifier, influencer, press, manufacturies, artists, galleries, conusmers, etc.) through PR and marketing actions.
* Responsible for all the operational services and showroom spaces, needed to meet the required standards defined by Dedar Creative Team.
* Responsible to collect information on clients, prospects and the community and feedback on products and brands. Make it available to the main stakeholders in the company.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* Degree in Interior Design/Architecture, Art or Business, Marketing & Communication
* Interior Design / Art background or additional studies are preferable
* 3/5 years of experiences in Sales or Design consultancy
* Knowledge of the luxury market and architectural & arts world
* Good knowledge of interiors history and current world
* Experience in interacting with architects and interior designers
* Optimistic, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
* Open to live the Milanese events to nurture the network
* Team player, Proactive and Problem-solving thinker
* Proficient in MS Office and social media
* Great attention to details
* Consumer and customer focused
* Capable to establish, maintain and develop effective relationship (with networking attitude)
