Masseria Specula is a boutique retreat and events venue situated close to the sea, in Specchiarica in the province of Taranto (Italy). We are currently opening a second venue located in Manduria, a 10min drive away from Masseria Specula.
We host events such as yoga retreats, art retreats, weddings and more. Our mission is to create (together with our team) an oasis of well-being – a place where our guests can unplug and recharge while respecting and enjoying nature. We operate as sustainably as possible: we run on solar power, minimise the use of plastic, serve vegan & vegetarian food, plant trees every winter, and keep bees to enhance pollination.
As we are growing, we are looking for a dynamic Hospitality Coordinator who can assist our Hospitality Manager in running operations in both of our venues. Over time the candidate could get promoted to Hospitality Manager and fully manage our second venue.
This is initially a paid part-time role, with possibility to evolve into a full-time position. The workplace for this role will be at both of our venues.
Qualifications:
* Completed a high school diploma;
* Professional level of spoken and written Italian and English.

Responsibilities:
* Working closely with the Owner and Manager to ensure that all the operational activities of the venues run smoothly and that a high quality service is delivered;
* Helping to plan, organize and deliver events: help with the organization and coordination of activities (meals, events, art workshops, transports, and more).
* Managing the interface with clients, external suppliers and venue’s staff;
* Assisting guest check-in & check-outs: checking that everything is ready for the guests’s arrival, welcoming guests and ensuring that everything is left in good conditions when they leave;
* Ensuring overall excellent customer satisfaction;
* Monitoring optimal functioning of the venues, stock of all necessary material, cleanliness, and maintenance of the entire venues;
* Support the team by facilitating the operations and ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a consistent and efficient manner and help them deal with unexpected requests and situations if they arise.
