Trillium Flow Technologies is looking for a Group Treasury & Trade Finance Analyst to support the development of the Treasury function to meet the needs of the growing business.
The successful candidate will report to and support the Trade Finance Manager, playing a pivotable role in our Group Treasury department. The role will deliver essential support in meeting the trade finance needs of the businesses, working closely with various departments, customers, banks and partners. The role will also provide support to treasury operations activity and the development of the treasury function.
The role is best suited for a highly collaborative candidate, driven by delivering strong quality solutions to meet the needs of our customers. The candidate should also have a passion for continuous improvement (of self and processes), systems & automation and motivated by the idea of contributing to an effective treasury function.
Responsibilities
Role tasks include but are not limited to:
* Support the efficient execution and management of trade finance transactions.
* Process trade finance requirements, including letters of credit, standby LCs, etc.
* Ensure timely & accurate records are maintained in trade finance & treasury systems.
* Prepare reporting & analysis to support the management of trade finance & treasury activities.
* Reconciliation & fee analysis of trade finance instruments and related facilities.
* Assist and act as back up for daily treasury operational activities (including, but not limited to payment runs, intercompany netting & funding).
* Support and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Treasury function.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years’ experience in trade finance and treasury operations within an international company, preferably in the industrial sector or banking field.
* Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
* Professional qualification/certification in Treasury or Trade Finance (or working towards).
* Familiarity with letters of credit, bank guarantees, export LC, surety bonds and other trade finance instruments.
* Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations such as ISP98, URDG 758.
* Strong organizational skill and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Italian and English is essential (written & oral).
* Practical experience with Treasury and/or Trade Systems and banking platforms.
* Highly proactive & self-motivated, able to work well in a team and on own.
* Strong Excel & analytical skills.
* Strong stakeholder management.
