Within the Group Life Reinsurance function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team, who will report to the Head of Life Reinsurance.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* In-ward reinsurance portfolio accounting, day to day administration, portfolio profitability analysis, and contractual documentation (wording and issuing)
* Analysis of the most efficient reinsurance solution (proportional and non-proportional programs) from the Business Unit perspective
* Identification of possible critical areas in the Terms & Conditions of Reinsurance agreements
* Elaborate appropriate contractual wording to address the T&C criticisms
* Identify possible critical areas in the products subject to reinsurance and possible initiatives to address any criticisms detected during the product analysis
* Guarantee the correct data transfer to the Accounting/Admin System (SICS)
* Support in data gathering and regular reporting from the Ceding Business Units
* Analysis of reinsurance treaties profitability
* Measure the economic and/or solvency impacts of available reinsurance initiatives
* Prepare supporting material for the Head of Life Reinsurance
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Statistics and Actuarial Science or any related field
* Good understanding of balance-sheet main principles
* Good understanding of Solvency II model
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Good knowledge of Visual Basic programming
* Flexibility to travel
Nice to have:
* 1-3 years of experience in Life Reinsurance or Life Insurance sector

* Analytical thinker with strong attention to details and excellent problem-solving capacity
* Ability to deliver high quality results in a high-pressure environment
* Ability to manage emergencies and changes of priorities at short notice
