At Dualistic ( we employ state-of-the-art data analysis and simulation techniques to develop the next generation digital twin tools for industrial and medical applications. We are expanding our team and looking for a Web Developer to support our projects in Trieste, Italy.
Your Role
As a web developer at Dualistic, you will contribute to the development of client-server architectures that support scientific computing needs in research projects for public and industrial institutions. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Design, code, test, document, and debug complex web applications and APIs
2. Devise and develop computational pipelines
Mandatory skills
1. 3+ years of experience in web development
2. Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Javascript, Python
3. Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
4. Ability to speak and write English fluently
5. Commitment to deadlines and deliverables
6. Willing and able to travel occasionally
7. Proficient use of the Linux command line
Nice to have skills
1. Experience in Svelte
2. Experience in NodeJS
3. Experience in development of node-based interfaces
4. Experience in Python scripting
5. Experience in DBMS SQL (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (Mongo)
6. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or relevant work experience
7. Contributions to open source projects
Compensations
1. Gross salary: 30-35k depending on experience and skills
