We are seeking a talented Restaurant Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
As the Restaurant Manager, you’ll be leading the front of house operations in your assigned restaurant. You’ll direct the front of house team’s daily activities in accordance with Eataly’s policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive, productive, and engaged work environment. You’ll report to the Restaurant Operations Manager and manage a large front of house team. You will be assigned to one of our restaurants as your main point of work.
Eataly London is home to three restaurants all focused on providing high-quality Italian food:
* A traditional Italian grill restaurant – Terra.
* A classic, high quality, casual Italian – Pasta + Pizza.
* A seasonal outdoor restaurant – Aperol Spritzeria Terrazza Eataly
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Overseeing the daily operations of one of our restaurants, ensuring profitability while upholding Eataly’s mission, values, and quality standards.
* Leading and mentoring a team, including multiple Floor Managers, fostering their growth and development.
* Actively working the floor, engaging with guests and supporting your team hands-on.
* Managing inventory, deliveries, and invoices to ensure seamless operations.
* Collaborating across departments to plan activities, events, and operational improvements.
* Handling guest feedback and resolving any concerns with professionalism and care.
* Monitoring financial performance, including sales, costs, and labour, to drive efficiency.
* Upholding hygiene, safety, and compliance standards at all times.
* Proven experience in restaurant management within a high-volume setting.
* A strong leader who motivates and develops teams.
* Hands-on, guest-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and costs.
