The Role
As a Junior Recruiter/Sourcer at Global University Systems, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Recruitment Manager to deliver efficient and effective recruitment services across the UK College Division. Reporting directly to the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent while ensuring adherence to company values and compliance standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for recruitment and excellent organizational skills.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
* Sourcing Candidates: Utilise various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events to identify and attract potential candidates for junior roles.
* Screening Resumes: Review and screen resume to shortlist candidates who meet the required qualifications and experience.
* Conducting Interviews: Schedule and conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidates’ suitability for the roles.
* Coordinating with Recruitment Managers: Work closely with two Recruitment Managers to understand hiring needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process.
* Maintaining Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Ensure all candidate information is accurately recorded and updated in the ATS.
* Candidate Engagement: Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them informed about their application status and provide a positive candidate experience.
* Assisting with Onboarding: Support the onboarding process by coordinating with new hires and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
* Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve sourcing and selection strategies.

Qualifications/Education:
* A good tertiary education or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
*
o High attention to detail.
o Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
o Experience in posting on websites and managing web forms.
o Ability to compose professional social media posts.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
o Respect for confidentiality and GDPR compliance knowledge.
Experience:
* Previous experience in recruitment or HR is required.
* Familiarity with the recruitment and selection cycle, preferably within the Higher Education (HE) sector.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools
