About The Role
As a Production Project Manager, you will work within the Operations team to plan and prepare the execution of critical production activities on Nuclear Components.
You will collaborate with Production, Metal Works, and Quality Control managers to improve the preparation, layout, and work areas to minimize risk during execution.
Utilizing FMEA tools, weekly schedules, engineering, and quality documentation, you will ensure the preparation and execution of activities in the shop.
You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located at Monfalcone (Italy), performing the role 100% on-site.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and update the weekly planning, working with the Component Delivery manager, Production manager, Metal Works manager, Engineering team, and Shift Supervisor.
* Review the inputs needed to complete activities in advance and ensure they are complete by participating in Readiness Reviews and Prejobs.
* Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure all documentation is approved and ready to be used.
* Review with Engineering and Fabrication Manager the First of A Kind activities to ensure people are trained, equipment is ready, and risk mitigation activities are implemented.
* Analyze activities performed to define improvement plans.
* Provide daily updates on the progress to the project team.
* Report and escalate any issues to identify owners and possible solutions.
Qualifications
* 5 years of experience in similar roles.
* Technical degree required.
* English proficiency.
