The Indirect Purchasing Buyer will be responsible for the optimization of the HQ portfolio of Indirect sourcing categories with a focus on Marketing & Corporate Expenses. Specific responsibilities include development of category strategies, identification of cost saving opportunities, facilitating and leading sourcing projects, supplier negotiation, and establishment and maintenance of supplier relationships. Main Responsibilities Ensures the implementation of prioritized initiatives in coordination with Group main Stakeholders; Identifies business needs and priorities as well as opportunities to consolidate locally managed categories, collaborating across functions; Assures a smooth, lean and effective procurement process mainly in the Marketing, IT and HR area, being able to manage the change, in line with policy and objectives; Sets procurement strategies, in line with the expectations of the requesting business units and the strategic pillars of the company; Supports the implementation of best practices and benchmarks; Ensures realization of saving targets for the categories managed and provide a periodic reporting on the results achieved; Delivers on expectations at best total cost of ownership (TCO); Becomes a contact partner for suppliers as well as for the internal customers and escalation step for several departments towards our supplier; Builds a culture of long-term savings on purchasing costs without compromising supply assurance or quality; Negotiates local and global contracts and works on consolidation of spend, e-catalogues and price lists. Job Profile Qualifications: At least 2/3 years of experience in Indirect procurement (focus on Marketing, IT & Corporate Expenses); Experience in project leading, tender organization and cost saving projects management; Experience in Procurement and managing purchasing activities in mixed categories. A background filled with Marketing, HR, Consultancies, Facility Management experiences will be a plus; ICT market knowledge represents a plus; Analytic skills (tender management, cost analysis, scenario modelling); Strong Excel and Power Point capability; Experience in defining and reporting on business focused performance metrics (KPIs); Solid understanding of contract management and P2P best practices, policies and tools; Good experience with e-procurement tools and ERP systems and reporting solutions; Fluent in Italian and English; High degree of professional ethic and integrity; Team worker and problem-solving skill; Willingness to travel among European subsidiaries. • Exceptional negotiating skills, along with a strong presence and ability to influence others • Exceptional analysis skills • Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and fast paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork • Attitude to work under tight deadlines and to switch from one project to another • Ability to navigate in unstructured environments whilst garnering trust with internal customers • Effective written and oral communication skills • Strong multi-cultural skills, high energy levels What we offer Dynamic Environment: Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
