Furthermore, as part of the global sustainability initiative Sail Sustain, the company is committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 through various short- and mid-term targets.We are looking to recruit a new member of staff at the Trieste Office, Italy location as soon as possible:Manager, Newbuild FinancePURPOSE:This position is being created to provide better visibility into all financial touchpoints of our newbuild program to ensure that financially sound decisions are being made during both the development and construction processes. The Manager, Newbuild Finance will help to drive decisions that enhance the ROIC (Return on Invested Capital) of both ships under construction and under development. Specific areas of focus will be on cabin mix optimization, public area optimization, change order cost management, and owner supply cost management.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the process of building financial models that will facilitate the analysis of proposed changes to cabin mix, public space utilization, and other decisions made during the ship design and development process.Manage the process of benchmarking of items such as public space utilization, cabin mix, and other key product drivers against previous newbuilds and competitor ships.Help the VP drive discipline around performing Return on Investment (ROI) analysis related to proposed changes requested both during the development phase and during the construction phase.Develop a regular cadence of meetings with the shipyard costing teams to review change order pricing, with the goal of vetting all unit costs and volumes in order to ensure optimal pricing.Manage the analytical process around owner costs (such as owner supply, Architect, etc.) with the purpose of flushing out unnecessary expense items.Develop Newbuild reporting packages that provide visibility to the business to drive better decision making.Perform other duties as required.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.5 to 10 plus years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or budgeting functions is required.Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.Cruise industry and/or Shipyard experience highly preferred.Newbuild experience highly preferred.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required including the ability to work with large volumes of data.Ability to share insights concisely via PowerPoint with company leaders, including the CEO and CFO.Inquisitive mindset always seeking continuous improvement will result in success in this position.Excellent interpersonal skills and a good attitude is required.Ability to interact effectively with Sr. Leaders throughout the organization.Ability to work with the highest degree of accuracy is required.Moderate level of travel is required.We look forward to receiving your application documents, including your salary expectations and earliest possible start date, by e-mail to:Please provide your CV in English.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and ManagementIndustriesTravel Arrangements and Financial Services
