We are seeking a legal specialist to provide support to our client, a leading global industrial and pharmaceutical company, in Italy.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for management and operational staff on all legal matters related to the local/regional business.
* Independently handle both routine and complex legal services, including research and study of commercial, civil, and administrative law in Italy and abroad.
* Prepare and/or review contracts nationally and internationally, covering various types of agreements such as contracts, transactions, commercial agreements, supply contracts, and service contracts.
* Manage and control corporate litigation in Italy and abroad, handling judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.
* Coordinate cooperation with external counsel on these matters.
* Cultivate relationships and communicate as necessary with other global and local lawyers, specialists in Legal Services, the business, enabling functions, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality overall services that meet business objectives.
Qualifications
* Educational background as a fully trained lawyer/solicitor in Italy, including Esame di Stato Abilitazione Avvocato.
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in drafting, negotiation of contracts, commercial transactions, and projects at a law firm or internal law department.
* Familiarity with International commercial law is beneficial.
* Working knowledge of Italian, English, and French legal language.
* Knowledge of healthcare laws is advantageous.
