We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Head of IT Visibility and Content Management. In this position you will play a crucial role in driving and implementing the EMEA IT strategy around external and internal visibility digital tools as well as in identifying and developing new regional IT solutions around the content management. This dynamic position requires close collaboration with the Global Centre of Excellence (GCoE), Global Product Owners, and regional stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.
What will your responsibilities be?
* Act as the primary contact between the EMEA region and the Global Centre of Excellence (GCoE), ensuring effective communication and execution of strategic initiatives.
* Establish and lead a cluster community forum to empower key champions in adopting new technologies and initiatives within their clusters.
* Collaborate with DSC clusters in the rollout and in the scale up of the regional Track & Trace and content management IT solutions.
* Drive the early adoption of new products by developing comprehensive rollout plans, conducting training, and providing ongoing support for seamless integration.
* Initiate and manage pilot programs for new technologies, evaluating their effectiveness and scalability for broader deployment across the EMEA region.
* Engage with senior management, cluster leaders, and external partners to align on strategic objectives and gather insights to support key initiatives.
* Lead the delivery of enhancements to existing solutions, negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Act as a senior solution architect to lead recovery initiatives for problematic projects, defining actionable steps and timelines to maximize value recovery.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing feedback mechanisms, organizing training sessions, and maintaining a repository of best practices for knowledge sharing.
You won’t find another Head of IT Visibility and Content Management position like the one you’ll find with DHL Supply Chain. Now, here’s what we need from you:
* Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management principles to effectively support logistics processes.
* Experience with operational standardization concepts within supply chain environments or other industries to enhance efficiency.
* Familiar with DHL operational standards and best practices to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up logistics processes and related applications.
* Minimum 3 years of project delivery experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and execute successful implementations.
* Proficiency in DHL IT products with the ability to configure and implement solutions for end-to-end processes independently.
* Strong analytical abilities to translate process requirements into system specifications and identify improvement opportunities.
* Ability to train colleagues on system usage and provide coaching to enhance team skills and knowledge.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; prior training in strategic products (e.g., JDA WM/D, OTM) is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
