Job Overview The Eutelsat RF team is a leading player in the satellite communication industry, with a strong focus on delivering robust RF infrastructure solutions for commercial video services and satellite missions. We operate the largest teleport in Europe, boasting over 200 antennas and cutting-edge technology, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an RF Operations and Engineering Manager. What You’ll Do: As the RF Earth Station Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire lifecycle of our antenna network. Key responsibilities include: Manage the day-to-day operation of RF Earth stations systems and assure their availability and reliability. Coordinate and be answerable for RF Earth Station activities with other Eutelsat Technical teams. Provide solutions needed to establish new types of RF infrastructures. Define and implement suitable preventive maintenance plans to support the operations of the RF Earth Station infrastructure. Ensure that the RF Earth Station infrastructure and its configuration are adequately documented. Ensure that all RF Broadband activities are carried out according to the agreed processes and procedures defined with the DSOps QMS and ISMS. Follow radio frequency licensing topics over Turin, Cagliari, and all remote Earth stations. Provide support for defining requirements for new Broadband service deployments. Monitor technological developments in E/S and RF domains. Evaluate and procure services and products from suppliers involved in RF systems. Produce statistical reports relevant to the configuration, performance, and occupancy status of RF Broadband subsystems. Ensure 24/7 On-Call support to provide Level 2/3 Support for all services and infrastructure incidents. Lead and inspire a team of 4 professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure their professional development. What You’ll Need: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Extensive experience in RF engineering and operations within the satellite communication industry. Proven track record in managing antenna networks and associated infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of frequency bands. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
