The QHSE Specialist is in charge of defining Meta System Trnava's Quality, Occupational Safety and Environmental System in compliance with national and international regulations and the technical standards required.
he/she actively participates in defining and/or modifying the organisational structure, preparing company procedures and drafting operating instructions for the Trnava site. He/she ensures that personnel involved in Systems management activities are adequately trained and updated. He/she collaborates with the company functions involved in the identification and validation of methodologies and techniques for process and product control.
He/she also plans, organises and manages actions for the continuous improvement of the QHSE Management System.
Following the instructions of the QHSE Manager, he/she studies the feasibility of projects, controls costs, prepares and adheres to the budget and coordinates the activities of employees for the Trnava site.
He monitors the QHSE system, through internal audits of processes and functional areas, to ensure that all the organisation's activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures defined by Meta System. He/she discusses problems and non-conformities with the QHSE Manager, identifies eco-compatible and functional organisational and technological solutions for the prescribed adjustments and defines corrective actions.
He/she is responsible for preparing the documentation required by the QHSE System for Trnava (manuals, procedures and technical reports) and ensures its regular review and update.
Within the scope of his/her competence, he/she interacts with the company's external and internal control bodies and is responsible for the entire bureaucratic process required by the supervisory and control bodies of the Environment, Quality and Occupational Safety Systems for the attainment and periodic verification of certifications.
The QHSE Specialist for the Trnava site reports directly to the QHSE Manager, who defines all the activities listed below and determines their level of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating Trnava's Quality System
Participating in the definition of the organisational structure, company procedures and operational methodologies for quality;
Managing quality procedures and fulfilments;
Organising Review Meetings and Inspection Audits;
Analysing system non-conformities and defining corrective actions on the system;
Planning, organising, managing actions for continuous quality improvement in cooperation with the Quality Manager of the plant;
Managing relations with Certification Bodies;
Supporting, when necessary, the other functions of the QHSE body with regard to System activities (e.g. managing Company Documentation etc.);
Managing and co-ordinating the Environmental System
Analysing the relevant sector regulations;
Keeping the ISO 14001 environmental management system up to date;
Identifying and analysing critical corporate environmental issues in cooperation with the Trnava Environmental Manager;
Collaborating with the Environmental Manager on the following activities:
Assessing the environmental impact of the production process;
Identifying improvement objectives and technological and organisational solutions functional to the prescribed, eco-compatible adaptations;
Studying the feasibility of projects through a cost/benefit analysis;
Planning and supervising regulatory compliance activities;
Preparing documentation for environmental authorisations;
Managing relations with Certification and Control Bodies.
Managing and co-ordinating the Safety System
Drawing up OHS procedures and system documentation;
Organising and managing OHS audits;
Managing relations with certification bodies;
Monitoring compliance with ISO 45001 certification regulations.
In cooperation with the Occupational Safety Manager of the Trnava site:
Identifying and resolving non-conformities on the OHS System;
Identifying improvement objectives and functional technological and organisational solutions for the adjustments prescribed by OHS.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Knowledge of the main Quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949;
Knowledge of the Environmental reference standard ISO 14001;
Knowledge of the Occupational Safety reference standard ISO 45001;
Conducting Quality / Environmental and Occupational Safety management systems internal audits;
Process auditor according to VDA 6.3 (Automotive) requirements;
Knowledge of basic quality tools inherent to the Automotive sector (APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC, PPAP);
Experience in previous jobs in the automotive sector.
