The Position The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively representing Boehringer Ingelheim with health practitioners within the area of competence, in order to promote drugs and communicate their pharmaceutical and therapeutic characteristics, adopting adequate communication techniques and acting within the company strategy in compliance with company policies and current regulations. Responsibilities: Ensure the activity of medical information towards health practitioners according to a plan agreed with the supervisor and in compliance with the company's strategy, policies, and current regulations. In collaboration with the District Manager, define local activities and steps necessary to reach the objectives in the area of competence. Coordinate, co-produce, and sustain the implementation of the Regional/Local Business Plan in synergy with the cross-functional team. Update management through business review and lead at least one cross-functional meeting. Execute ICP if part of it and manage digital channels aligned with the customer strategy. Constantly monitor the area of competence by providing information to the supervisor about the use of drugs and adverse events reported by healthcare professionals in accordance with current law requirements. Improve own knowledge on the therapeutic area of competence through participation in meetings, refresher courses, and self-learning. Organize and plan own activities (visits, itineraries, meetings) and regularly report to the District Manager using available informatic tools. Apply and respect legislative and company requirements concerning Drug Scientific Information, Drug Safety, and Ethical Code. Identify insights that drive deep local scientific and professional needs, clustering them, then being an ambassador of the evaluation/inclusion in IBP as tailored and bottom-up approaches (communication, activities, etc.). Deliver innovative solutions through digital technologies to enhance the customer experience. Monitor activities and communication in the relevant market area to ensure balanced scientific information. Contribute accurate scientific information to the appropriate use of drugs in the specific TA in the BI portfolio. Hospital management: work in synergy with the cross-functional team (Medical department/Clinical Operations/Access/MKTG/Public Affairs functions/KAM) for activity in the hospital from different perspectives: Pts flow, diagnostic-therapeutic chain, HCP and HCO scientific and professional needs, HCP Network (local, regional, national, and international), Pts and Care Givers (following compliance rules). Requirements: Degree (e.g., MBA, Master of Science) in Pharmacy or Biology. More than 3 years of experience in a similar position. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market (trends, competitors). Law requirements within the pharmaceutical market. Native Italian and good English language level (minimum B2). Sales techniques. Digital skills. Good communication skills.
