We are seeking an INFOR M3 Specialist with a focus on Finance and Accounting to join our ICT team.
This role involves leading European ERP implementations, optimizing financial modules, and providing strategic advice to our Business Owners and Key Users.
He/She will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Infor ERP solutions that enhance financial performance, regulatory compliance, and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end implementation of the Infor M3 ERP system, specifically the financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management).
* Design, configure, and customize ERP systems based on business needs, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
* Manage and collaborate with external ERP consultants.
* Oversee ERP upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Advisory:
* Provide expert advice on Infor's ERP system functionalities, identifying best practices to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Collaborate with Finance Teams to map out business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Advise Finance Teams on financial workflows, internal controls, and regulatory compliance (GAAP, IFRS, SOX).
Project Management:
* Collaborate with the CTO and other internal stakeholders to manage ICT and business projects in the financial area.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of ERP projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Languages:
* Fluency in Italian and English (both speaking and writing). Additional European languages are a plus.
Experience:
* Alternatively, experience in a consultancy company or within an IT department with a similar function.
* Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, JDEdwards, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
* Proven track record in ERP implementations for financial processes, including budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
Technical Expertise:
* Deep understanding of financial accounting processes and standards, including GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and local tax regulations.
* Advanced knowledge of ERP system configurations for general ledger, financial statements, accounts payable/receivable, and asset management.
Hard Skills:
* Strong ability to analyze and understand business requirements and convert them into effective ERP solutions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial processes and ERP functionality to non-technical stakeholders.
