We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About The RoleAs an Indirect Sourcing Lead you will balance Global Supply Chain Indirect Category strategies with in-country stakeholder requirements and in-country laws/regulations. You'll negotiate, award and administer component and service contracts, generating cost savings.You will report to the Global Indirect Sourcing Manager and be located in Monfalcone (Italy). This position is hybrid requiring 2 days/week on-site.Main ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with assigned Category Managers for Indirect CategoriesSolicit quotations and analyze proposals; use Westinghouse sourcing tools (ARIBA Sourcing) for large indirect sourcing eventsConduct supplier solvency reviews using Westinghouse supplier solvency tools (RapidRatings and DB Credit Risk Module)Negotiate contract agreements with in-country suppliersNegotiate, record and monitor one-time and recurring cost savings in WAVE software toolRequest and monitor supplier records on the Westinghouse Approved Supplier List (ASL)Manage In-Country ARIBA Catalogs with Indirect partner suppliers within MRO categoryImprove storeroom inventory and seek cost reductionsResell unused assets or surplus stock material/scrap material on the marketParticipate in company growth by implementing the annual CAPEX investment plansBe an escalation point for procurement/invoicing issues associated with in-country Indirect partner suppliers; oversee resolution of disputesDevelop relationships with suppliers, Westinghouse stakeholders and Global Supply Chain peersQualificationsFrom 5 to 10 years of previous experience in procurementBachelor’s degree/Master of Science degree in business/economics/law or engineeringKnowledge of the SAP systemAn advanced level of spoken and written Italian and English is requiredWhy Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
