In this role You will:
Purpose
Drive a standard, efficient and compliant delivery of global IT solutions in multiple business areas (Vaccines Manufacturing, Quality, Global Supporting Functions such as Finance, HR etc). The role includes but is not limited to the roll-out of global business solutions and the implementation of global templates on a local site.
Key Responsibilities
IT Applications
1. Collaborate to the delivery of a Tech Roadmap for site and drive site/business requirements into central planning and delivery through liaison with Tech Product Teams and Strategy/Portfolio leads.
2. Implement Tech strategies at site(s) – operating model, strategic controls, governance, global standards.
3. Engage with site tiered accountability process and participate in Tech Performance Management processes. Site point of contact for Tech requests and escalations.
4. Support the deployment of global applications (SAP, Veeva, global Platforms including Labware, MES, Azure) and collaborate with global BP to set project priorities and roll-out global applications locally.
Digital Agenda
1. Implement and execute a technology roadmap and a Digital data and Analytics agenda.
2. Promote GSK available paperless solutions suite, apps and dashboards and promote utilization of Gen AI tools and data driven AI/ML.
IT Risk & Compliance
1. Address IT risks (Business Continuity Planning, IT security, confidential data management).
2. Ensure all local IT activities are carried out in compliance with global IT standards and procedures and provide audit support.
Why You?
Basic qualifications:
1. IT degree is preferable, otherwise high school degree with good business analysis experience is equally required.
2. Experience in a Pharmaceutical industry with a preference for exposure to manufacturing and quality process and application.
3. Experience supporting IT Business applications, IT Risk & Compliance.
4. Experience interacting with leaders across Sites/Businesses.
5. Experience working effectively in an organization across geographies and cultures.
6. Analytical ability to diagnose problems and to develop practical solutions and Customer Service experience.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Regulatory requirements for IT systems and their operational support.
2. Previous SAP experience.
3. Knowledge and experience with Process improvement techniques (Impact, SixSigma, LeanSigma).
