Main Responsibilities
* Monitor and track monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals
* Collaborate with management to assess and improve processes and policies
* Enforce company policies and ensure their implementation
* Train new employees and provide guidance on their roles and responsibilities
* Address employee complaints or performance issues as needed
* Maintain regular communication with employees to gauge their satisfaction
* Schedule shifts and allocate tasks efficiently
* Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
* Schedule regular maintenance and cleaning of facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment
* Attend regular meetings with upper management to stay informed on company matters
* Oversee the security of the facility and implement measures to prevent any incidents
Duties and Expectations
* Scheduling shifts and disseminating this information effectively
* DIRECTING AND ASSESSING WORKFLOW PERIODICALLY
* ENSURING THE OBSERVANCE OF STIPULATED BUDGETS
* FURNISHING GUESTS WITH PRACTICAL AID AS NEEDED
* RESOLVING NOTABLE DISAGREEMENTS BETWEEN STAFF
* ADDRESSING RULE VIOLATIONS COMMITTED BY GUESTS
* INSTITUTING SUITABLE DISCIPLINARY MEASURES UPON EMPLOYEES' MISCONDUCT
* STRENGTHENING OUR FULLY-FUNCTIONING SECURITY MEASURES AND CONCEPTUALIZING NEW PROCEDURES
* SUPERVISING WORK AT ALL LEVELS (RECEPTIONISTS, KITCHEN STAFF, MAIDS, OFFICE EMPLOYEES ETC.) AND SETTING CLEAR OBJECTIVES
* PLANNING ACTIVITIES AND ALLOCATING RESPONSIBILITIES TO ACHIEVE THE MOST EFFICIENT OPERATING MODEL
* ANALYZING AND INTERPRETING FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND MONITORING SALES AND PROFITS
* DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING AN INTUITIVE AND EFFICIENT MARKETING STRATEGY TO PROMOTE THE HOTEL'S SERVICES
* COMMUNICATING WITH CUSTOMERS WHEN APPROPRIATE (WELCOME THEM IN THE FACILITIES, ADDRESS THEIR COMPLAINTS, FIND SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS, OFFER INFORMATION ETC.)
* DEALING WITH MAINTENANCE ISSUES, SHORTAGES IN STAFF OR EQUIPMENT, RENOVATIONS ETC.
* INSPECTING FACILITIES REGULARLY AND ENFORCING STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS
Requirements
* Prior experience in the industry is preferred
* Customer service experience
* Knowledge of cash management and bookkeeping procedures
* Team management skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Availability to work in shifts including weekends
