Your contribution to the energy transition
You will be responsible for managing the operation and maintenance contracts of Utility Scale Plants in Italy, including the 42 MWp Sardinia PV plant and the 42 MWp Loreo PV plant, with more to be added soon. You will handle a mix of commercial and technical tasks, reporting to the O&M Team Leader – Italy. Your workplace will be one of our offices in Verona or Milan.
You can look forward to the following tasks:
1. Acquire excellent knowledge of contractual requirements and support the O&M team with any contractual queries.
2. Take ownership of all contractual deliverables, develop and update tracking registers to ensure timely submission of documentation (operational reports, HSE documents, invoices, etc.).
3. Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding contractual, commercial, or operational issues.
4. Negotiate with clients on additional work or variation orders.
5. Manage relations with suppliers (warranty issues) and O&M subcontractors, in coordination with the O&M Team Leader.
6. Monitor the performance of plants in relation to contractual KPIs.
7. Support the implementation of quality systems in the Utility Scale Plants by standardizing O&M processes and procedures. Develop and apply method statements, operating plans, and checklists to assist site teams and ensure proper execution of scheduled maintenance.
8. Assist O&M site teams with Root Cause Analysis when needed.
9. Support the O&M Team Leader and team with additional tasks, including O&M and revamping activities across Italy, as required.
10. Act as a backup for the O&M Team Leader when unavailable.
Your energy is required
You impress us with these qualifications:
1. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree, bachelor, or diploma from a technical institute.
2. At least 6 years’ experience in maintenance or construction of PV plants or other power plants.
3. At least 3 years’ experience managing O&M or EPC contracts for PV plants or other power plants.
4. Experience in construction, commissioning, or O&M of utility-scale PV plants (>20 MWp) is a plus.
5. Experience working with or for corporate clients / large IPPs is a plus.
6. Good knowledge of HSE procedures and regulations.
7. Strong IT skills, especially MS Excel.
8. Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
9. Ability to stay composed and perform effectively under pressure.
10. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
12. Good administrative and reporting skills.
13. Willingness to travel occasionally to PV plants (up to 10% of work time).
14. Valid driver’s license.
