Your key responsibilities
• Develop successful business relationship with new and existing clients establishing dsm-firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business
• Negotiate with client favorable commercial terms, including payment terms, prices for new and existing business
• Get clear and complete briefing from client and translate its needs into Firmenich projects
• Anticipate client's needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities
• Identify gaps and needs in client portfolio and set-up proactive plans to increase and defend market share
• Identify and document business potentials and competitive landscape
• Partner internally with cross-functional teams (Fragrance Development, Marketing, Innovation etc.) to create holistic value propositions for clients
• Define account objectives, develop commercial strategy in collaboration with the Commercial Director through account plan to drive profitable sales growth; Monitor and coordinate the execution of the account plan, report based on defined performance indicators and take corrective actions, in order to achieve the results.
• Build account sales budget annually and review regularly to project accurate sales budget landing, monitor sales and profitability monthly versus given objectives
• Manage products life cycle, demand planning, customer care and supply chain efficiency to ensure high level of service to clients and accuracy and reliability internally.

You bring
• University degree in Economics, Marketing & Sales or related field
• 5-7+ years’ experience in a similar role and a good network in Consumer and Fragrance Market.
• Passion for sales, proven negotiator, ability to develop successfully client relationship and prepare and deliver presentations to clients
• To identify opportunities in order to grow the business by meeting or exceeding Sales budgets/targets.
• Communicate professionally with clients (existing and potential) and with fellow employees in Italian and English language.
