Within the Group Reinsurance unit in the Group Head Office we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.In particular, the selected candidate will be part of the PC treaty underwriting stream that has the main responsibility to finalize and manage the reinsurance inward treaties. The selected candidate will join a team that closely interacts and collaborates with other Group Functions, Group Business Units, reinsurers, and brokers.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite PC treaty reinsurance from Group Business Units according to the internal evaluation and the market conditions.Identify Group Business Units reinsurance needs and participate in the process of setting up and evaluating new reinsurance solutions, in collaboration with other Group Reinsurance functions.Manage treaty renewal and administration.Collaborate with other Group Reinsurance functions to offer advice and guidance on the drafting of new treaty wording, as well as the revision of existing ones.Evaluate the technical performance of reinsurance treaties in the portfolio and define any corrective actions to maintain profitability.RequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or any related field.Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in (re)insurance required, preferably in reinsurance or PC underwriting activities.Advanced MS Office suite knowledge.Proficient in English.
