What to expect:
Intertek is a leading international ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) services company.
Intertek's Softlines business provides testing, inspection, training, and consultancy services to retailers, brands, and manufacturers of textiles, apparel, fashion accessories, footwear, and home textiles products.
Your responsibilities:
1. Support Intertek's business outlook, goals and values, manifesting the following behaviors: competence, accuracy, collaboration, initiative, commitment and accountability.
2. Coordinate projects in the softlines and hardlines categories involving testing and inspection from customer inquiry to invoicing and obtaining payment.
3. Prepare bids for product testing, inspection and certification.
4. Maintain and keep up-to-date the project register and project documentation.
5. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on project progress.
6. Control and forecast costs and turnover related to ongoing projects.
7. Collaborate with the accounting department on client invoicing and cost accounting.
8. Service Intertek's key clients and build long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
9. Handle customer complaints process.
10. Continuously build knowledge of Intertek regulations, market and services.
11. Liaise with Intertek offices and laboratories around the world and external consultants.
12. Assist in marketing and sales activities and support in projects assigned by the Supervisor.
13. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the SL&HL Manager.
What we are looking for:
1. Education in the course of studies or higher, preferably in economic, financial, technical, or related majors.
2. English language knowledge at B2 level.
3. Work experience in a similar work environment.
4. Computer literacy, including very good knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, creation of databases, other functions), MS Word, PowerPoint, and operation of Internet applications.
5. Very good organization of work, independence in action, and ability to independently set priorities.
