Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Pastry Chef to lead and elevate the hospitality experience at Mangia's in Sardinia.
A Pastry Chef operates the pastry section of the kitchen, delivering an excellent Guest and Member experience while planning production and developing seasonal offerings.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting with running the pastry section of the kitchen
Ensuring excellent quality throughout dessert offerings
Bringing creativity to pastry offerings
Supervising and coordinating all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation
Planning production to facilitate daily requirements
Developing appropriate seasonal menu offerings
Managing food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
A minimum of 2 years as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef Experience with high volume food production
Approaches pastry in a creative way
Strong supervisory skills
Positive attitude
Good communication skills
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
Excellent grooming standards
Excellent planning and organizing skills
Dedicated to the delivery of exceptional service and continuous improvement
