Position Mission With reference to the special processes listed below: Coating Torque Tightening Crimping Gluing the specialist in special processes must ensure compliance with internal procedures, guarantee their continuous update, and constantly monitor correct operations within the production flow. Responsibilities The specialist technician in special processes will be responsible for: Ensuring compliance of special production processes with current regulations (including, if necessary, appropriate updates to internal procedures) Monitoring production processes by performing analysis and tests to verify the effectiveness of activities Modifying and optimizing existing equipment and processes Identifying and monitoring suppliers used to support special processes Providing support in the qualification of suppliers Assisting the Q&S team in preparing for customer and certifying body audits Analyzing tender requirements and identifying potential deviations from current processes Technical Skills / Qualifications / Professional Experience Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. A degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Knowledge of the main regulatory standards related to the control of special processes, including: ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems EN 60352-2 – Solderless Connections. Crimped Parts – General Rules, Test Methods, and Practical Guidance EN 17460 – Railway Applications – Adhesive Bonding of Rail Vehicles and Their Components DIN 6701 – Adhesive Bonding of Rail Vehicles and Vehicle Parts ISO 12944 – Protection Against Corrosion of Steel Structures by Painting DIN 25201-1 – Guidelines for the Design of Railway Vehicles and Their Components – Bolted Joints English proficiency: level B2. The work will be carried out at various operational locations of MER MEC S.p.A., therefore, availability to operate at the different production sites of MER MEC is required.
