WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
1. Answer logistics related questions from sales/marketing colleagues, reps, local agencies and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process. Engage in troubleshooting and follow up inquiries in a structured way until the case has been resolved.
2. Process and arrange book-ins with customers and schedule deliveries to arrive on-time.
3. Advise sales/marketing teams on available logistics services to meet specific customer shipping requirements route coding, transit time).
4. Maintain and coordinate load planning processes with the warehouse and transport provider through supply chain collaboration platforms (es. Dealer desk).
5. Weekly Business Review management with forwarders using shared files.
6. Coordinate between the logistics operation and the local factories staff.
7. Takes the necessary steps to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the status of shipments by checking multiple sources such as carrier web tracking, load planning files, excel reports or leveraging direct contact to the forwarder.
8. Identify return inquiries and process them until goods are received back at the warehouse and the customer has received his credit. Support the process claims against third party logistics providers using the SAP Claim Handling System
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
9. Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in an administrative role using ERP systems SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (incl. Outlook, Excel, Word)
10. Previous exposure to coordinate with Italian customers and suppliers (forwarders)
11. Strong command of the Italian and English language.
12. Intermediate French preferrable
