As Procurement Manager, you will actively develop the supply chain processes to support our business at its best. You will work closely with three of Ingersoll Rand Air Treatment productions based in Italy and Slovakia and the cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally with our suppliers to ensure that our business targets are met or exceeded. Driving cost and time effective delivery of quality components through key vendor relationships is critical. This position is responsible for creating an optimal Supplier base to meet business requirements. The role is key to leading the Company forward in securing quality suppliers of materials and components covering price, delivery and quality targets. In addition, in this role, you will drive the introduction of the Ingersoll Rand Procurement best practices into the facilities recently acquired by the Company. The position is located preferably in Cervignano (UD), Italy. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that are inventive, cost-effective and in compliance with IR sourcing strategy for Direct Materials. Sourcing and engaging reliable high performing suppliers. Managing a portfolio of suppliers. Leading negotiations to ensure best commercial conditions for IR including implementation of IR standards with respect to contractual settings. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic suppliers while continually scouting for new potential best in class vendors. Preparing procurement reports. Conducting cost analyses and supplier benchmarks. Leading supplier escalations related to OTD, capacity, pricing. Developing risk supplier strategy reflecting results from Risk assessments. Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance to drive continuous improvement with suppliers in terms of cost, quality, OTD, service, flexibility and NWC. Working closely with cross-functional teams – Operations, Logistics, Material planning, Finance, Engineering, Legal and others. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in relevant field. Proven track record from Sourcing / Procurement / Supply Chain in industrial sector at the level of Procurement Manager or Senior/Strategic buyer. Expertise in contracting, pricing, supply chain/sourcing strategies. Demonstrated work experience with outsourced manufacturing suppliers and procurement teams to drive problem resolution, VMI/SOMI implementation, quality processes, and effective source cost analysis. Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost reduction & inventory management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with associated procurement-based technical knowledge. Proficiency in strategic sourcing processes and supplier relationship management. Business and financial acumen with excellent negotiation skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced business environment. A collaborative approach with the ability to build excellent working relationships internally and externally. Fluency in Italian and English. Location: Cervignano (UD), Italy.
