Purpose of the job
This role, you will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights, supporting business decisions by analysing complex datasets, and delivering clear and impactful reports. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and help drive business success through data analytics. Additional will support TOS and GOS testing and reporting process.
Summary of responsibilities:
* Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights
* Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize data trends and company performance
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key metrics and data requirements
* Utilize statistical methods to interpret data and solve complex business problems
* Conduct ad hoc analysis as required to support strategic initiatives
* Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis
* Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to address system issues and optimize performance.
* Communicate system performance and improvements to senior management.
* Drive continuous improvement by evaluating process changes and aligning them with business goals
Education & Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Port Industry
* Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams of IT and Operations.
Technical Skills & Knowledge Required:
* Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
* High attention to details to ensure the processes are optimized.
Behavioral Competences Required:
* Risk management
* Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Language Requirements:
* Fluent spoken and written English is a must
