Company Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager for our site in Goff's Oak, Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for Management of the day-to-day operation of the assigned development site to meet the Company production objectives relating to safety, quality, production, presentation, financial performance, in addition to achieving the required levels of site presentation and service to our customers.
Some of your key responsibilities:
* ·Foster a positive and productive working relationship with all those who come into contact with the site. Deal with customers, visitors, the public and Company staff in a courteous manner to promote a good image of the Company.
* ·Prepare and present to the Building Director a detailed analysis carried out during a pre-planning process on the full concept of each new project, covering all aspects of safety, quality, presentation, sales and cost.
* ·Carry out weekly Safety Inspections to ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations.
* ·Monitor and check setting out carried out by subcontractors to ensure accuracy prior to commencement of building and as required during construction.
* ·Assist with training of any staff under your responsibility.
* ·Assist Surveyor with ongoing and final account preparations.
* ·Ensure roads, drainage, open space, etc. are completed and put into maintenance before leaving the site.
Requirements
* Proven experience of working within the Residential property or house builder sector experience
* Experience and knowledge of traditional build and timber frame structures
* Hold a professional or technical Building qualification or degree
* Ideally, MCIOB qualified or working towards
* Strong experience and knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislation, NHBC standards and other required building standards
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with all levels of staff and clients
* Ability to organise and prioritise, and manage time constraints effectively
