About the Role
As a Production Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning and executing critical production activities on Nuclear Components within our Operations team.
You will collaborate closely with Production, Metal Works, and Quality Control managers to improve preparation, layout, and work areas, minimizing risk during execution.
Using FMEA tools, weekly schedules, engineering, and quality documentation, you will ensure the preparation and execution of activities in the shop.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and update weekly planning by working with Component Delivery manager, Production manager, Metal Works manager, Engineering team, and Shift Supervisor.
* Review inputs needed to complete activities in advance and ensure they are complete through Readiness Reviews and Prejobs.
* Collaborate with Quality Department to ensure all documentation is approved and ready for use.
* Review First of A Kind activities with Engineering and Fabrication Manager to ensure people are trained, equipment is ready, and risk mitigation activities are implemented.
* Analyze activities performed to define improvement plans.
* Provide daily updates on progress to project team.
* Report and escalate any issues to identify owners and possible solutions.
Qualifications
* 5 years of experience in similar roles.
* Technical degree required.
* English proficiency.
