As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our global customers on-site. You will be responsible for leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard. You will enjoy opportunities to develop your product knowledge and technical skills in a dynamic, innovative environment.
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Centrifugal Compressors, you will be responsible for:
* Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
* Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Centrifugal Compressor products at customer sites.
* Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.
* Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
* Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
* Display an impressive customer service mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
* Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
* Have a deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
* Be a motivated self-starter and be able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.
* Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.
* Have an EU Passport or a European Work permit.
