Within the Group Chief Financial Office function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team, who will report to the Head of AG administration and reporting.
The job holder will become part of the AG Administration and Reporting Unit which aims to prepare and monitor on a quarterly basis the reporting package and on a semi-annual basis the statutory reports for the Parent Company. The unit is also responsible for the preparation of the Market Value Balance Sheet, the Own Funds and the related disclosure in compliance with the Solvency 2 framework.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* General accounting (Local Gaap and IAS/IFRS)
* Preparation of reporting packages according to IAS/IFRS principles
* Support the team from a methodological point of view (accounting principle and specific regulation) and liaise with branches and other BUs in the resolution of specific topics
* Analysis and evaluation of the Company's Own Funds according to Solvency 2 Regulations
* Support the production of disclosure for statutory reporting
* Ensure compliance with the Group's policies and the Financial Reporting Risks processes and maintain the relationship and support both internal and external auditors
* Support other units within or outside the GCFO area for the evaluation of extraordinary operations (e.g. portfolio transfer, merger and acquisition, alternative reinsurance solutions)
* Support the AG Planning & Control unit for forecasting, budgeting and planning as well as the controlling of the actual data
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Finance or any related field
* Knowledge of the main concepts of financial statement analysis
* Knowledge of international financial reporting standards and data-flow management
* Fluent English
