Our IT department plays a crucial role in maintaining our operational excellence and supporting our continuous growth. Role Overview: We are seeking a junior local IT manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our local offices in Italy, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. The location can be any Aviapartner station in Italy but preferable Aeroporto Fiumicino. Key Responsibilities: Manage local IT infrastructure, providers, airport, airlines, authorities, customs, in close cooperation with HQ IT and other stakeholders. Validating & initiating requests for new IT infrastructure. Coordinate the day-to-day support with the central service desk and service manager. Provide local support to station/country managers for planning, budgeting, and follow-up of IT budgets. Manage user access rights on system level. Act as IT project leader for local IT infrastructure projects. Participate as an IT team member in group projects with local IT infrastructure impact. Coordinate on-site support tasks with the central service desk (PC swaps, physical installation of hardware, local server interventions, etc.). Serve as point of contact for various IT actors we work with (airports, airliners, suppliers, authorities). You will be part of a European IT team of /- 20 people. Qualifications: Education level: Bachelor in Computer Science. A first experience in an IT support or service delivery role. Outstanding communication skills. Fluent command of English is a prerequisite; additional European languages are an asset. Technical knowledge of infrastructure networking, ITIL, Windows applications, iSeries, and aviation-related software. Microsoft or similar certifications.
