What: In the framework of the Cascade Call associated with the project ‘INF-ACT - One Health Basic and Translational Actions Addressing Unmet Needs on Emerging Infectious Diseases’ (PNRR Mission 4 - Component 2 - Investment 1.3 supported by the European Union - NextGenerationEU), TIGEM has been allocated resources to promote the project ‘GENESIS - Unraveling the Molecular and Immunologic Mechanisms of Intrahost Persistence in Emerging and ReEmerging Arboviral Infections’ (CUP I53C24001430007), aimed at investigating the mechanisms of persistence in arboviral infections. Principal Investigator: Prof. Mirko Cortese.
Type of Contract - Salary: Temporary, Full Time - The salary will range from 10.000€ to 15.000€ based on previous experience.
Essentials:
* Highly motivated.
* Entry level knowledge in biochemical, molecular and tissue engineering technologies.
* Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in written and spoken English.
Desirable:
* Experience in biosafety level 2 and 3 laboratories.
* Knowledge in CRISPR-based genome editing.
* Experience in the field of RNA viruses.
* Previous experience in virology.
