We are seeking a highly motivated ADAS Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for the validation, testing, and debugging of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, ensuring their correct integration and functionality within the vehicle.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest levels of system safety, reliability, and performance, in line with industry standards and customer requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
* System Testing: Plan, execute, and document test activities for ADAS systems, including functionalities such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and parking assistance.
* Test Development: Develop test cases, procedures, and scripts to validate ADAS functionalities in various scenarios (simulation, bench testing, and road testing).
* Test Execution: Conduct both laboratory and field tests to evaluate system performance under different conditions, including extreme weather conditions and variable road environments.
* Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve issues during test phases; collaborate with development teams to find and implement solutions.
* Test Equipment Management: Configure, calibrate, and maintain test tools, equipment, and environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and functional.
* Data Collection & Analysis: Collect data from tests, analyze results, and create detailed reports. Provide recommendations based on test outcomes.
* Collaboration: Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers, as well as suppliers, to ensure seamless integration of ADAS components.
The following will also be positively evaluated:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in testing or validation, preferably in the ADAS or automotive sector.
* Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA is positively evaluated.
* Knowledge of ADAS functionalities and components (radar, cameras, LIDAR, ultrasonic sensors).
* Proficiency with test tools and environments (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, Python) and knowledge of diagnostic protocol (UDS).
* Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
* Experience in programming languages like Python and CAPL.
* Experience with Git version control using Git Bash or similar tools for managing code repositories and collaboration in a development environment.
* Understanding of UART tracing and serial communication tools (e.g., PuTTY).
* Experience with Esotrace Viewer or similar diagnostic and analysis tools for ADAS and automotive systems, including data visualization and analysis for vehicle performance.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Driving license and willingness to participate in vehicle testing.
